This project was carried out in several phases.
- Phase 1: Fabrication of 8 trusses and the external steel structure, including the beams, at Castillón Martínez’s facilities. Subsequently, the trusses, measuring 24 metres in length and 6 metres in width, were transported by special haulage from Castillón Martínez to the Sugar Factory building.
- Phase 2: Reinforcement of the first-floor concrete slab with steel columns and beams.
- Phase 3: Installation of columns for the extension of the building.
- Phase 4: Installation of portal frames between the Sugar Factory building and the Nativity Scene building to extend the facility. Several 15-metre compact crawler lifts were required to carry out the on-site welding work, with the assistance of an 80-tonne mobile crane.
- Phase 5: Installation of guardrails around the entire perimeter.
- Phase 6: Installation of the structural framework for the south atrium façade (park side).
- Phase 7: Installation of trusses and purlins for the new roof.
- Phase 8: Installation of a vehicle access ramp on the north side (supermarket area).
Thanks to our specialised team and extensive industry experience, we successfully met the demanding quality standards required for this project.
